In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to: • Originate and close deals: Lead the end-to-end process of deal origination, negotiation, and closing to secure substantial clients and revenue. • Develop strategic partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients to drive business growth. • Drive business growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market insights and industry trends to expand our client base. • Lead business development initiatives: Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business strategies. • Provide strategic counsel: Leverage your business acumen to advise the leadership team on market trends, competitive landscape, and strategic investments. • Mentor and develop talent: Contribute to the development of a high-performing business development team by providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship opportunities.

Local companies struggle to scale due to bureaucracy, inaccessible financing, organisational challenges, and sub-Saharan Africa’s geopolitical conditions.
