Spurt! is a technology solutions company that helps entrepreneurs to build more efficient, more productive, and strategic businesses. Our practice is focused on deployments of technology, human-centred design thinking, and data analytics for business growth and expansion. We leverage digital and social technologies to trigger and nurture the transformative growth of businesses. Our group's operations are clustered into five operating arms: S.T.E.P., Paperclip, Solutions, MadeIn! and SpurtX! 

Spurt! was founded to develop local companies into regional and global giants. Local companies struggle to scale due to bureaucracy, inaccessible financing, organisational challenges, and sub-Saharan Africa’s geopolitical conditions. Our objective is to catalyse and support the growth of large local companies with sufficient scale and capacity to add value locally and regionally.

• Full Stack Development: Design and develop scalable, robust backend systems using Node.js or equivalent. Build and maintain front-end components using frameworks such as React or Next.js.

• Data Engineering & Management: Implement methods to improve data reliability, integrity, and scalability. Create data flows to connect operational systems to analytics and BI tools.

• Blockchain & Web3 Integration: Develop and integrate blockchain-based functionalities into our existing systems, leveraging your knowledge of smart contracts, decentralised storage, and DApps.

• API Development & Optimisation: Build and document secure and efficient RESTful APIs. Implement clean coding practices and improve the scalability of existing systems.

• System Architecture & Security: Contribute to designing and optimising system architecture to ensure it aligns with the company’s long-term goals and user needs. Prioritise security and compliance in all coding practices.

• Collaboration & Leadership: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and deliver cohesive solutions. Provide guidance on best coding practices and mentor junior developers when necessary.
