Nigeria - The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA) is urging the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to reconsider its recent implementation of a 0.5% cybersecurity levy on electronic transactions as this levy is an unexpected burden on the private sector and this levy could discourage electronic transactions in underserved areas, hindering financial inclusion efforts.
